Sovereignty

Well I've researched a few of the Sovereignty abilities, but when I go to the new tab in my castle it says that hasn't been activated yet. Anybody know when it will be activated?

You were right, I'm able to claim squares now. However, I've claimed a square with an occupying army, yet I can't build any of the sovereign structures on it, and no new structures are available for research. Has anyone else been able to do this or is that something that's not working yet?

I cant claim squares.

Do I need tenancy?

No, tenancy gets you a level 2 claim. You need Serfs and Landholding to get started. After you have those you just need to occupy a spot with an army, then click on that spot and claim it. According to the official documentation, there should be additional research available to build structures on those squares. They aren't available to me, but I'm not sure if that's because they aren't available at all yet or if I'm lacking some requirement. The official documentation isn't very clear about that.
